Mixer brand Fever-Tree makes its TV debut today (19 November) in a partnership with Channel 4.
The commercial, which will air on Channel 4 until the end of the year, is set in a bar and features a contemporary re-recording of the song Fever, made famous by US star Peggy Lee in 1958.
The TV push follows the tonic brand partnering with Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund, which was launched earlier this year to offer high-growth companies the chance to build their business through TV advertising.
The partnership had enabled Fever-Tree to test a medium it wouldn’t otherwise have been able to, said marketing director Saskia Meyer, adding it had provided an “excellent, strategic opportunity” to spread word of Fever-Tree to a broad audience.
Commercial Growth Fund head Vinay Solanki said: “The ad will help this fast-growing UK company achieve significant brand awareness through TV, the most effective scalable advertising medium.”
In an unscheduled trading update at the beginning of this month, Fever-Tree revealed it expected its full-year results to be be “materially ahead of board expectations”. The company said it had continued to perform strongly in the second half, ahead of its 31 December year end.
