GSK is hoping to fuel a supercharged performance by British F1 stars Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button at this weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. It has developed a new Lucozade energy drink for the McLaren drivers to help them cope with the high temperatures and G-force. It would not be drawn on whether the ‘Lucozade race formulation’ would be hitting shelves anytime soon.
