Fantasy fans will soon have the chance to play the Game of Thrones.

Following on from the hit HBO fantasy TV series, released on DVD in March, June will see the release of a console and PC game that boasts all the vengeance, allegiance, betrayal and honour fans of the series would expect.

The game offers a new story developed with George RR Martin, author of the books that the TV series is based on. Playing as a warrior or a priest, fans can visit locations such as The Wall and Kings Landing and interact with characters including Queen Cersei and Varys the Spider.

The game will be distributed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC by Koch Media.
