Comics publisher Panini is launching a magazine based on the popular animated children's characters, the Powerpuff Girls.
Panini already publishes stickers and a sticker album centred around the adventures of the crime-fighting trio Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, and the magazine is aimed at the same audience of young girls.
Panini's Alex Williams says the title will contain a mixture of features. "It takes a big comic to tell a big story, and Panini's Powerpuff Girl comic is a big comic!" he says.
"Launching on June 27, the Powerpuff Girls comic will be packed full of stories, features, games and competitions based around the fantastic adventures of the Powerpuff Girls."
The four-weekly title launches with a circulation of 120,000 and every issue has a fabulous girl power' gift attached."
The title will carry a cover price of £1.75, and the first Powerpuff Girls magazine comes with a free covermounted Powerpuff lip balm. Powerpuff Girls Magazine will be distributed by Marketforce.
