Grant’s Scotch whisky is rolling into Asda in time for Christmas in its mini barrel format.
The small cask (rsp: £32.97) holds a 1.5-litre bottle of Grant’s Family Reserve.
The whisky brand, distributed by First Drinks Brands, is also looking to target a younger market with the launch of a sporting-themed campaign in the run up to the festive season.
Grant’s has teamed up with the Sports Journalists’ Association of Great Britain (SJA) to find the most inspiring global
sports events to visit. The entries offer different angles on sought-after sports travel destinations around the world. More than 1,200 members of the SJA voted for their favourite 10, leading to a shortlist of 50 for the public to vote on, with the chance to win a trip to one.
The results of the poll - which includes a diverse range of options from the 2012 London Games to ice fishing in the Arctic Circle - will be collated on www.sport50.com and announced on December 5.
