Drinks company Global Brands has appointed former Carlsberg UK marketing manager Simon Green marketing controller.
Green will head up the VK maker's portfolio of RTDs, beers, spirits and soft drinks, along with drinks handled by Inspirit, which Global acquired this week.
"It's an exciting time to be joining Global Brands, one of the most dynamic and ambitious businesses in the drinks industry," said Green. "The company is ideally placed to respond to ever-changing consumer and customer expectations, so we can be first to market with innovation and deliver fantastic brand growth."
The buy-out of Inspirit came as Tony Mair, former commercial MD at Diageo GB, was appointed chairman at Inspirit. "The deal strengthens our position to expand the portfolio, which we plan to do through securing new licence agreements and brand acquisitions," Mair said.
