The founder of Grampian Country Food Group, the owners of Northern Irish wholesaler Henderson Group and the CEO of Reckitt Benckiser have all made the Sunday Times Rich List for the first time.
Fred Duncan, founder and chairman of Grampian, entered the annual list of Britain's richest people in joint 292nd, valued at £280m. He holds a £275m stake in the Scotland-based meat supplier.
Martin and Geoffrey Agnew, owners of Spar wholesaler Henderson Group, were ranked joint 854th in the list, with an estimated wealth of £95m.
Bart Becht, who has been CEO of household cleaning products company Reckitt Benckiser since 1999, made it onto the list in joint 969th place. Becht has a £51.8m stake in the company plus a salary of £22m, according to the Sunday Times.
The list was extended to include the top 2,000 richest people for the first time this year, with Innocent Drinks founders Adam Balon, Richard Reed and Jon Wright in 1,779th place, valued at £41m each. Lord Bilimoria, founder and chairman of Cobra Beer, ranked 1,181st with a wealth of £68m.
Sir Ken Morrison, who stepped down as chairman of Morrisons in March, was the highest-ranked person in the food and drink industry at 52nd with £1.45bn.
The Sainsbury family fell from 22nd on last year's list to joint 56th with wealth of £1.3bn because of a drop in Sainsbury's share price following an aborted takeover bid by Delta Two last year. However, the family ranked 7th in the giving list, donating £233.6m to education, medical, arts and humanitarian causes last year.
