Cadbury's natural sweets brand The Natural Confectionery Company is launching a new jelly sweet product to tap into the growing popularity of bagged confectionery.
Guzzle Puzzle (rsp: 50p) allows consumers to combine different shaped fruit and spiced sweets, like a puzzle, to create new flavour combinations, which include cinnamon and lime to create cola, orange and banana to create bubblegum and raspberry and lime to create pink lemonade.
Guzzle Puzzle launches exclusively to Asda next month and will roll out nationally from August, backed by a £2.5m multi-media campaign.
Marketing manager Louisa Bertano said the new format would extend the brand's reach to young families and adults.
"We are confident with this format, playability factor and marketing support, we can start to drive incremental sales for the brand among this audience."
