Disney has announced a partnership with frozen foods retailer Iceland ahead of the winter release of its animated film Frozen.
Iceland customers will be rewarded with a complimentary child’s cinema ticket to see the Disney movie, released on 6 December 2013, if they spend £15 or more in store. The promotional tickets will be valid between 6-20 December.
“This promotion demonstrates how a Disneymedia+ promotion can communicate with our clients’ customers in a fun and engaging way,” said Barnaby Rothwell, director of promotions at Disneymedia+.
“We are therefore thrilled to be able to offer Iceland’s customers and their families the chance to enjoy Frozen during the festive period in cinemas throughout the UK.”
A marketing campaign will start from the 27 November, with Iceland using in-store promotions featuring animal characters from Frozen, and TV and national newspaper adverts focusing on the partnership.
