Iceland has launched a nationwide property search to find sites for 80 new stores it plans to open in the next three years.
The company, which has 760 stores, has identified more than 110 towns and cities in the UK, including locations in Scotland and Northern Ireland, where it would like to open stores.
It is looking for sites of 3,000 sq ft to 8,500sq ft in established high streets and suburbs, or on main roads in populated areas, with convenient parking.
Iceland Group property director Tim Yates said: "We are confident there is space for an Iceland store in many more of the UK's high streets and suburbs. We plan to bring 80 new stores on line over the next 36 months."
