Walkers is adding a new twist to its Wotsits brand with the launch of a coil-shaped cheesy puff snack.
Wotsits Twisted, out on July 26, will be supported by a new TV ad campaign featuring a chaos-causing character called Sid, which forms part of a £1.5m ad spend for the brand this year.
Walkers’ trade marketing manager, Nicky Seal, said: “Product innovation appeals to the imagination of Wotsits’ core consumer, while the Wotsits brand has a growing reputation for being fun and vibrant.”
Wotsits Twisted will be available in Really Cheesy flavour in 24g bags (rsp: 27p) and a 10-pack in two flavours - Really Cheesy and BBQ (£1.82 for 10 x 22g bags).
