JJ Food Service has teamed up with software company Relex to improve the efficiency of its supply chain.

JJ hopes its new forecasting and purchasing optimisation software will reduce wastage, improve the shelf life of fresh and chilled goods, optimise stock levels and boost availability. It also plans to automate repetitive re-ordering tasks.

Relex claims existing grocery clients have cut spoilage by more than 40%.
