JJ Foodservice is introducing a discretionary profit-sharing scheme to give employees an amount equal to 5% of pre-tax profits.
The profit-sharing scheme will run in the next financial year starting from April 2022.
“The contribution and dedication of our employees, particularly during the Covid pandemic, has been incredible,” said JJ Foodservice HR manager Joanna Florczak.
“We want each and every member of the JJ family to share in the company’s success and see themselves as part of our future,” she added.
The amount awarded will be calculated based on the total basic gross salary of each employee at the end of the tax year, in proportion to the total basic gross salary of the business as of March 2023. This will be reflected in summer 2023 wages.
Based on JJ Foodservice’s last published accounts to March 31, 2021, the average amount per employee would be £645.
