JTI UK has promoted Victoria Lopez Aguas as the new reduced-risk products (RRP) director of its UK division.
Lopez Aguas has spent 10-years with JTI, with her most recent role being head of RRP for Spain and Portugal.
Aguas initially joined as strategy and insights planning manager in 2012, before working on the Winston portfolio strategy and then the Camel brand team.
She will be replacing Gemma Bateson, who moved into the sales director role at JTI UK last summer.
“With the reduced-risk products category seeing so much growth, it’s an exciting time to be joining the talented UK team,” Aguas said.
“Just last year, we’ve launched our new and improved heated tobacco device, Ploom X, featuring upgraded technology to enhance the customer experience.
“There is ample opportunity to develop the category even further, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to lead the business through this next chapter and working with our retail partners to make it a success.”
