Kingsland Drinks has launched two new wine brands into the Co-op.
They are: a Spanish sparkling called Vuestro, and a two-strong range of Australian wines called Vandenberg.
Vuestro (10.5% abv) rolled into 2,189 Co-op stores across mid to late October, with a Zork peal and reseal system which allows shoppers to conserve the drink’s fizz (£6/70cl).
The Vandenberg range has hit 300-odd stores, and includes a ‘Melee’ (13.5% abv) - a blend of shiraz and cabernet grapes - and a chardonnay (12.5% abv).
The chardonnay was “sophisticated and elegant”, said Kingsland Drinks, while the Melee combined “black fruits with savoury spice”.
