Kolak Snack Foods is to open a £9.6m processing site in Park Royal, West London in June.
The 45,000 sq ft facility would be dedicated to extruded snack products and ready-to-eat popcorn, and would create 100 jobs, said Kolak.
It will feature eight high-speed bagging machines that run at 140 bags a minute and also have a new popcorn production line.
“This will be the Rolls-Royce of snack processing plants,” said managing director Ashok Lakhani. “This facility will allow us to strengthen our position as a leading own-label snack supplier.”
Founded in 1985, Kolak had turnover of £61m in 2012 and expects to achieve £72m in 2013.
