The snacking giant cited “room to increase consumption” of nuts

KP has rolled out a new range of nut snacks called KP Krunch Mix.

The duo of mixes – Sour Cream & Chive and Texas BBQ – feature a combination of peanuts, mini crunchy corn snacks, and coated peanuts (rsp: £2.50/105g).

KP said the launch would “drive excitement by hitting both taste and texture notes that shoppers desire” and “in doing so, allow nuts to compete with other mainstream sharing snacks”.

There was “room to increase consumption” of nuts, said KP marketing controller Ilan Arkin.

“Mainstream dairy flavours such as Sour Cream & Chive currently do not have a major presence in nuts within the UK market.”
