KP has teamed up with London craft brewery Deviant & Dandy for a beer designed to pair perfectly with the nut brand.
The brew, called KPA, is a 4.5% abv pale ale with “subtle hints of oats and a citrus punch” according to KP. It will launch online through Deviant & Dandy’s web store from 17 October in 4x330ml packs, which come with 415g of accompanying nuts (rsp: £10).
Matt Lever, chief creative officer at design agency BMB, which spearheaded the project, said: “Show me someone who doesn’t enjoy KP Nuts with their beer. The sad fact is that until now, people have been wasting KP Nuts on terribly average beer. The world’s best nuts have finally gotten the beer that they deserve.”
The launch will be backed by a series of online films on FaceBook, which would cement KP as the only nut brand “with the authority to develop the perfect liquid accompaniment to its delicious, definitive flavour”, added BMB.
