The brand has launched a Black Pepper variant into Sainsbury’s this month

Lactalis UK & Ireland has announced the expansion of its Seriously Spreadable range.

The brand has launched a Black Pepper (rsp: £1.95/125g) variant into Sainsbury’s this month.

It is made with 50% cheddar and black pepper.

The brand said it was a highly versatile product and ideal served on crusty bread, crackers and bagels – or served warm on baked potatoes or stirred into pasta.

“We want to bring excitement to the category through new flavours – and our new Seriously Spreadable Black Pepper Cheese Spread, which brings a combination of our signature tasty cheddar and black pepper, does just that, creating another delicious addition to the range,” said Heloise Le Norcy-Trott, group marketing director for Lactalis UK & Ireland. “The Black Pepper flavour tested very well among consumers, with 76% finding Black Pepper to be very appealing/appealing.”

It joins the Original, Lighter, Vintage, Chilli, Caramelised Onion and Smokey products in the Seriously Spreadable range.
