Rippleglen has bolstered its senior staff following its purchase of the 121 store Supercigs and Supernews estate from Tesco last November.
The acquisition has prompted the CTN chain, which trades as Arden News, to create two new posts. Bill Curtis has become senior buyer. He has spent more than 25 years in the retail
industry and has worked for T& S Stores and Stars News Shops.
Scott Partridge has been recruited as news and services controller from Comag Magazine Marketing, where he was client services and development manager. He has more than 18 years’ experience in the news industry, having spent the majority of his career working for WH Smith in its retail, news and travel divisions.
In addition, Shirley Finlay has been appointed head of human resources at Rippleglen.
