Lidl has switched its own-label chocolate production to 100% sustainable cocoa.
All the cocoa used in the retailer’s Fin Carré and Bellarom ranges will now be supplied by farms that have signed up to the UTZ Certified code of conduct for agricultural and business practices.
The switch follows Lidl’s move to use sustainable cocoa in the Fin Carré range two years ago and is part of the retailer’s commitment to the UTZ Certified programme.
