Cash and carry giant Makro has upgraded three of its depots in North Acton, Birmingham and Glasgow with new features all of which have been on trial at its Charlton outlet since last year.
The three depots have been fitted out with a bakery, fresh fish counter, fruit and vegetable section and a butcher's, as well as a larger catering section, new displays of clothing and extended ranges of electrical goods.
Makro plans to extend the blueprint across its other 24 stores.
Managing director Ian Hamilton said: "The investment demonstrates our commitment to being the biggest and best."
