Marks & Spencer has slashed the price of products across its business as high street stores continue to struggle to pull in shoppers.
Prices have been cut in food, clothing, Christmas gifts and home accessories as part of a seasonal promotions campaign to “help ease the pinch for customers in the run-up to Christmas,” M&S said.
The deals, which will be available from tomorrow, include ‘4 for 3’ on all party food and selected champagne at half price. This weekend, shoppers will also be able to pick up a Christmas Spend & Save voucher of £5 off M&S food and drink purchases of £25 or more between 20 and 24 December.
It follows two one-day 20%-off pre-Christmas sales held by M&S in the last few weeks in a bid to tempt shoppers and shift unsold stock.
“We know that our customers are feeling the pinch but we all need a bit of sparkle this Christmas,” said M&S chairman and CEO Sir Stuart Rose. “That’s why we are committed to continue to offer a wide range of promotions to help make the festivities special for everyone.”
