Marks & Spencer is launching the smallest lemons ever sold on the UK high street. At just 30mm to 40mm wide, the lemons are half the size of the standard variety.
Grown in South Africa and shipped over to the UK, they will be in M&S stores nationally from Saturday priced at £1 for a pack of four.
“We are always on the lookout for new varieties of traditional fruit and veg to make things more exciting for our customers and our new baby lemon does just that,” said M&S lemon specialist Stuart Henderson.
