Marks and Spencer scooped the top prize at this year's British Meat Awards for its perfect roast lamb'.
It walked off with the Product of Excellence award after the product took first prize in the lamb category.
The prize for beef product of the year went to Matthews Food Group for its wholegrain mustard and chervil rib eye joints, while Bartholdi's oriental pork and apple suet pudding topped the pork category.
Event organiser Keith Fisher, butchery and product development manager at the MLC, said M&S's perfect roast lamb impressed judges by the quality of the meat and the innovative packaging.
"This was clearly developed with convenience in mind," said Fisher. "Consumers simply place the high quality cut of lamb into the oven, where it bastes in its own juices in M&S's unique self-basting packaging."
