Kerrygold Company marketing director Brendan Doyle is to retire on April 1 to devote more time to his many other interests.
Doyle has worked for almost 36 years at Kerrygold, the international trademark of the Irish Dairy Board. He joined the board as an assistant product manager in 1971, then moved through the ranks until his promotion to marketing director in the 1990s. The company said Doyle had been the driving force behind a number of important Kerrygold campaigns.
Alison Palmer of advertising agency McCann Erickson will join Kerrygold as marketing controller at the end of March.
