United Biscuits has promoted Colin Hutchison to McVitie's deputy managing director, biscuits, UK and export. Hutchison, who became sales director in 1996, will lead McVitie's UK sales and marketing, and head UB export, UB Ireland and UB North America from the end of the month. He said: "I now have international responsibility for marketing as well as sales." Hutchison joined United Biscuits as a graduate trainee in 1979, working in sales roles across the business, including Ross Young's and KP. Md Graham Johns said: "Colin's wealth of experience at United Biscuits, combined with top flight sales credentials and leadership skills will continue our drive for growth with our trade partners." {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
