Digital marketing firm Ecrebo has appointed customer loyalty specialist Michael Poyser as chief analytics officer.
Poyser will start at Ecrebo, which produces personalised PoS offers for M&S and Waitrose, straight away.
Poyser has more than 18 years’ experience working on loyalty analytics for companies including Tesco-owned Dunnhumby and global giant Aimia, which owns the Nectar programme.
Having spent seven years as Aimia’s regional analytics director for the UK, Poyser gained extensive knowledge of Nectar and led a team of more than 100 analysts and data scientists.
At Ecrebo, Poyser will form part of the senior leadership team and will focus on “helping retail customers better utilise real-time data to generate impactful consumer insights”.
“The opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic organisation at such an exciting point in its growth trajectory was of great appeal to me,” said Poyser.
Ecrebo CEO David Buckingham added: “Knowing Michael’s extensive background in leading successful analytics teams and projects, I am thrilled to welcome him to the Ecrebo team. I am confident that with Michael on board leading our analytics capability, we will continue to grow our client base by proving the value of our shopper insights.”
