McCain is adding two new ranges to its burgeoning Micro boxed portfolio.
The company unveiled both new ranges - Micro Baguettes and Micro Ribs - at this week’s Convenience Retailing Show in Birmingham.
Set to roll out to the trade from the middle of next month, three baguette-style products make up the first new offering - All Day Breakfast, Sausage and Onion and Tuna Melt. All weigh in at around 150g, carry an rsp of £1.49 and are microwaveable from frozen.
Chinese and BBQ variants of the Micro Ribs will carry the same price point for portions of around 160g.
The newcomers, which are set to be stocked by most of the multiples, take the total number of products in the Micro range to more than a dozen.
