Chocolate and honeycomb producer Mighty Fine has launched what it claims to be the UK’s first premium honeycomb bars.
The four-strong Mighty Fine Honeycomb will be available from next month in milk chocolate, peanut butter, dark chocolate and salted caramel variants (rsp: £1.59/50g).
Positioned upmarket, each bar is handmade using ‘real’ honey and is encased in a layer of Belgian milk or Peruvian dark chocolate.
The quartet would tap into the increasing demand for high quality artisanal sweet snacks and treats, said the London-based business.
“Mighty Fine is all about quality, taste and innovation and our new honeycomb bars are truly unique,” said company co-founder Kit Tomlinson.
Mighty Fine donates 5% of its profit to Friends of the Honeybee - a campaign organised by the British Beekeepers Association to halt the decreasing number of Britain’s honeybees and other pollinators.
