Mondelez has claimed a category first with a Dark Roast wholebean instant coffee blend under its Kenco Millicano brand.
Available now, Kenco Millicano Dark Roast had a ‘bold, intense’ aroma (rsp: £4.89/95g) that would appeal to the “currently untapped” consumer base that preferred a stronger, dark brew, said assistant brand manager Joanna Dias.
The newcomer will benefit from a £8.5m investment earmarked for the Kenco brand this year, including TV.
