Regency Event Solutions has increased the number of “human vending machines” it employs at the Olympic Park by 40% to better meet demand during peak times of the Paralympics.
RES served 500,000 visitors from 150 mobile beer and ice cream dispensers during the Olympic Games.
It has hired a further 60 people to roam the park during the Paralympics, which it estimates will generate over £750,000 in additional sales.
“Working at the Olympic Games was an incredible experience and we are very proud to have been part of what was an excellent event and occasion,” said MD Alex Demetriou.
“Our department ran exactly as anticipated but we have increased the size of the team to make sure everyone is served as soon as possible.”
