Boardroom battles at troubled supermarket group Morrisons are set to continue over the summer.
Reports in the Financial Times said that the retailer’s appointment of three non-executive directors earlier this week had failed to simmer the growing feud between Sir Ken Morrison, chief executive of Morrisons, and David Jones, his deputy.
“It looks like we’re in for a long, hot summer, Clearly there hasn’t been an outbreak of peace,” an unnamed adviser told the paper.
