What's your favourite restaurant? Yauatcha - it does the best dim sum in London.

Do you prefer healthy food or junk food? Healthy, every time. But I do occasionally succumb to a giant chip sandwich.

Have you ever sent back or complained about a meal? At a country tea shop en route Brighton, tucking into beans on wholemeal toast, I noticed mould on the bread... on the very last piece I was about to put into my mouth. Urrgh!

What's your favourite ­tipple? Red wine - especially Rioja. Also a spicy Bloody Mary.

What would you rescue from your house if it was on fire? My Miu Miu coat and grandad's medals and beret.

What's your fantasy car... and what do you actually drive? A midnight blue DB9; sadly, I drive a green VW Polo.

What are you reading? Just finished Margaret Atwood's latest, The Penelopiad. I think she is the best writer of our times.

What gadgets do you carry around? iPod and mobile.

What was the last film you saw at the cinema? The Da Vinci Code - yawnsome.

What are your pet hates? Litter bugs, people that drive at 65 in the middle lane, the stampede of people trying to get a seat on a low cost airline.

What's the best holiday you've ever had? Driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to San Francisco in a convertible Mustang.
