Cheviot Foods, manufacturer of products including Chicago Town potato wedges, Bisto roast potatoes and Aunt Bessie’s honey glazed roast parsnips, has appointed Tina Rigarlsford to the newly created position of marketing manager.
Rigarlsford joins from Villa Soft Drinks, where she was marketing controller for two years. Prior to that she worked at Newcastle University, developing the north east of England’s food sector, working alongside the regional food group Northumbria Larder.
She will be charged with raising the profile of Cheviot’s added-value frozen potato products and developing its licensed branded products.
Ian Lindsay, commercial director for Cheviot Foods, said: “Tina’s appointment is further evidence or our commitment to the support and development of our licensed brands, and she will bring significant insight to our own-label business.”
