Waitrose's local food buyer John Vine has moved to become a buyer for canned goods. Waitrose said it was currently searching for someone to fill the local food buyer role.
Marks & Spencer's head of investor relations, Amanda Mellor, is to replace Graham Oakley, the retailer's group secretary and head of corporate governance, in July. Oakley, who has worked for M&S for 24 years, is retiring.

Six have been appointed by the Ulster Farmers' Union to represent agricultural employers and six have been appointed by the Amalgamated Transport and General Workers' Union to represent agricultural employees.
