Budgens has further widened its fresh produce offering with an own-label bagged salad range.
The range went into stores this week and follows the launch of 170 Budgens-branded fruit and herb products in March and a new prepared veg range in May as the symbol group moves away from the SuperValu brand.
Ten new salad bags and four new salad bowls - including a garden salad, Piccolini tomato salad, crunchy sharing bowl and a Caesar salad bowl - are part of the launch, with uniform packaging featuring a Budgens heritage print and leaf motif.
A general reduction in the size of salad bags has also been introduced to cut food waste.
