Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer have withdrawn dozens of quiches, savoury tarts and ready meals from sale due to possible peanut cross-contamination.
Sainsbury's was forced to recall 26 quiche and savoury tart products and one ready meal product, while M&S recalled 12 ready meals and 16 quiche and tart products, after routine checks found a small amount of nuts in a nut-free area in the supplier's factory.
None of the products had left the factory but, as a precaution, production had been temporarily stopped and the products withdrawn from stores, Sainsbury's said.
A full list of products can be found on the Food Standard Agency's website www.food.gov.uk.
