Princes adds larger packs for two boneless mackerel fillet lines

Princes is to launch two tinned boneless mackerel fillet variants in a larger pack size.

The Tomato & Roasted Onion Sauce and Hot Piri Piri Style Sauce lines go on sale at Asda this month in a 190g format (rsp: £1.89), compared with its usual 125g packs, to encourage shoppers to consider the fish for an evening meal.

“Shoppers are becoming more aware of the benefits of omega-3,” said marketing director Neil Brownbill. “This has created a great opportunity.”
