Artisan cheesemaker Quickes Traditional is pushing the boundaries in flavoured cheese with the launch of a Cheddar containing elderflowers.
Quickes is renowned for its artisan cheeses and already sells a cheddar with a blend of herbs.
Elderflower Cheddar has an aromatic note of elderflower with a buttery richness, according to Quickes.
Matured for three to four months, the cheese will be sold in 1.8kg clothbound truckles (rsp: £22/kg).
Available exclusively in Harvey Nichols for one month from 1 September, the cheese will then be sold exclusively through wholesaler Cheese Cellar - which supplies Harvey Nichols - for six months.
