Ryvita has appointed Katie Rason to the newly created position of brand manager.
In her new role, Rason will oversee marketing strategies and activities across the Ryvita Minis and Ryvita rice and corn cakes ranges.
She joins Ryvita from electrical goods manufacturer Russell Hobbs/Salton Europe, where she was a brand manager. During her time there she developed and implemented a new range of small electrical appliances branded under the name of the Channel 4 television programme, You Are What You Eat. Prior to this Rason worked for toymaker Mattel in the Fisher-Price character brands team and helped develop a plan for the launch of The Fimbles.
Rob Murray, marketing director for Ryvita, said: “We are confident that Katie will make an impact and continue to build on developing our brand and our company image.”
