Rodda's is hoping to emulate the success of Dorset Cereals and Gü with a brand refresh from the same design agency that previously worked its magic on the cereals and puds brands.
Big Fish has revamped the clotted cream brand's packaging to now feature a milk maid surrounded by Cornish imagery including choughs (a member of the crow family once common in Cornwall), waves, a lighthouse and fishing boats.
The new packs, which will hit stores from the beginning of next month, were a significant step for the brand, said Rodda's MD Nicholas Rodda. "We are proud of our Cornish heritage," he added.
The Rodda's name, which was previously red will now appear in gold, and a strapline 'Keepers of the cream since 1890' has been added to packs.
The branding will roll out across the full Rodda's range of dairy products.
