A new Chilean wine range, designed for the independent and wholesale sectors is to launch next week.
Rosario has been developed by Chilean winery Misiones de Rengo and UK-based agency Ehrmanns.
The entry-level varietals are aimed at the £4 to £5 bracket and include a Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a Merlot. The higher Reserva tier will retail between £6 to £7 and includes a Carmenère and a Chardonnay. The two sectors wanted a competitively priced range. "The wines are known for their consistency year-on-year," said Ehrmann's wholesale director, Alan McDermott.
