Sainsbury’s has issued a recall for its 326g Just Cook chicken breasts with Piri Piri sauce with a ‘use-by’ date of 24 January 2016 because some packs have been incorrectly packaged, and contain Chicken and Bacon Lattice.
This means it contains cheese, wheat and pork, which are not mentioned on the label.
The Food Standards Agency said it posed a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy on intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
It also presented possible danger for those with an allergy to wheat or intolerance to gluten.
The FSA has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
Sainsbury’s has issued point-of-sale notices in stores urging customers to return the product to their nearest Sainsbury’s for a full refund.
