McCain has revamped its frozen toasted sandwich offer to focus on health and taste rather than speed.
The company has scrapped its Micro Toastie product, which was aimed primarily at a teenage market, and replaced it with the McCain Cheese & Ham Toasted Sandwich (rsp: £1.49), which has a lower saturated fat content.
"We have launched this product to meet wider consumer demand for wholesome, convenient snacks that are simply prepared," said head of customer marketing Alan Castle.
