Children’s snacking brand Bear is to make its frozen category debut with a duo of ice lollies launching next month.
The lollies are said to take “all the quality credentials” from Bear’s core product – fruit yoyos – and move them into an “adjacent category”.
The range will launch with two flavours, Strawberry and Mango (rsp: £2.50/5x55ml), both containing just two real fruit ingredients: fruit purée and apple juice.
The lollies are also low-calorie, with the Strawberry flavour containing 21 and Mango containing 27 per stick.
Bear said they would “make healthier choices simpler for parents”, while providing a “strong sales opportunity” for retailers.
