Unilever is targeting home bakers with the launch of a new Stork margarine variant containing butter.
Stork with Butter will go on sale nationally from April (rsp: £1.99 for a 400g tub).
Brand manager Rhiannon Carr said the launch was part of Stork’s plan to “reinvigorate” baking spreads.
“The home baking market is set to grow to £1.9bn from 2014 to 2019, presenting a lucrative sales opportunity for retailers,” she added.
