Westons has given its Stowford Press cider portfolio an ‘authentic’ overhaul.
The updated look, rolling out now across the brand’s cans and bottles, features Stowford’s newly introduced “100% local home-pressed apples” slogan alongside a new watermarked tumbling apple design and a more authentic looking gold-coloured apple icon.
The revamp had been designed to remind consumers that all apples used in Stowford Press cider were locally sourced to the Westons Cider Mill in Herefordshire, said head of brands Sally McKinnon. “Our new look reinforces the authenticity of the brand while also giving a nod to its premiumisation.”
The relaunch forms part of a £2.5m investment in the portfolio this year, which included a TV push in the summer that debuted the “100% local home-pressed apples” line.
