Strongbow cider will be the focus of a nationwide TV advertising campaign this summer by Scottish Courage.
The 40 second advert - part of the company’s £22m investment in Strongbow this year - emphasises its taste and plays on the difficulty drinkers have in describing it.
The ad features a mobile bar with comedians, including Rob Deering, asking members of the public to describe Strongbow’s taste in a variety of ways, ending with the strapline ‘Let the taste do the delivery’.
Paul Stranger, head of customer marketing at Scottish Courage Brands, said: “The new advertising encapsulates the personality of the brand in an interesting and humorous way.”
