Premium crisps manufacturer Seabrook Crisps has named John Tague as its new managing director.
Tague moves up from the role of commercial director. He joined the company in May last year from Dextra Solutions, Europe’s largest distributor of mobile phone accessories, where he was group sales director and acting joint managing director.
Philip Devine replaces Tague as commercial director. He also joins from Dextra Solutions and will be responsible for increasing distribution and driving new business.
“I aim to enable every consumer in the UK to engage with the brand by creating new distribution channels and expanding existing ones,” Devine said.
The brand has listings in all the major multiples. In 2007, Asda CEO Andy Bond told The Grocer the brand had outperformed national brand Walkers in some Yorkshire Asda stores.
